TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.

The complete breakdown, with regulation, withdrawals, check here pricing, and here the bonus more info terms, is at Trade The Day.
